JV Boys Finish KPAC Regular Season

The JV boys have finished the KPAC tier 2 regular season with a perfect 8-0 record. The Royals defeated Transcona Collegiate (5-2) in their home gym Thursday night to clinch first place in the standings and give themselves a bye in the first round of playoffs. Cory Rey continued his dominant play (20 pts, 6 rebounds) while Riley Recksiedler controlled the tempo of the game (12 pts, 7 rebounds, 4 assists). Selkirk had a sluggish start but got a spark off the bench from Eric Eyolfson and was able to pull away in the fourth quarter. The JV boys have a tournment in Stonewall this weekend and then look to keep their streak alive in their KPAC semi-final match on February 16th. GO ROYALS!
